Welcome to the Chisum Lodge at River Meadow Ranch, a totally restored, hand hewn log home. This beautiful home sits on 7 acres and offers stunning mountain views and vistas. The Chisum Lodge provides 5 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms and can comfortably sleep 12.

As you walk through the Chisum Lodge you will see the detail provided in this restoration. Modern kitchen appliances, comfortable furniture, truly custom and unique woodwork and trim all sitting atop beautiful cherry wood floors.

ROOM TO GATHER

Enjoy the warmth of the large stone fireplace sitting in the open family room, a perfect gathering place. The large kitchen on the first floor of Chisum Lodge features an island with bar stools. The kitchen is stocked full of all the cooking and dinnerware for your inner chef to prepare meals for your group. Large windows offer mountain views from every bedroom. Enjoy outdoor dining on the 1000 sq ft wraparound deck that has 200 sq ft of deck covered.

5 BEDROOMS

The master suite is on the first floor of Chisum Lodge offers a queen-sized bed, walk-in closet, stereo, TV, and private entry to deck. The master bath features a bathroom with a custom vanity with double sinks, a jacuzzi tub, and a tiled shower. Additionally, there are 2 more bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed, on the first floor with a full bathroom.

On the lower level, you’ll be greeted by yet another large master bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a large walk-in closet. A large fifth bedroom, also on the lower level, sleeps 3.

REC ROOM

You’ll find a stunning rec room with a pool table and one of four flat screen TV featuring DirectTV atop handmade log entertainment center, a custom wet/bar kitchenette made with reclaimed wood, along with a full bath.

The laundry room has a washer and dryer and all supplies to do laundry.

WIFI

The Chisum Lodge and the River View Lodge feature wireless internet so you can stay connected while on vacation.

OUTDOORS

You can fish on the property, enjoying the Stillwater River. We provide fishing poles to use fishing for pike or trout in the river.

We provide horseshoes, badminton, volleyball, cornhole, etc. We look forward to having you as our guest.

LOCATION

Eagles are often spotted across the river. You will enjoy the local elk farm just to the south, across the road. A cattle ranch is a neighbor giving the River Meadow Ranch a pastoral setting. Spring calving season is a special time when we get the first glimpse of the season’s new babies. We are located on a quiet road; close to town and airport yet you wouldn’t know it.

Watch the elk down the road on the elk farm. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises make for memorable vacations. From the Chisum Lodge, you can see both Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort and Blacktail Mountain Ski Area.

If you want the real Montana flavor, this is the area. One of the best caterers in Montana is just 5 minutes down the road. For any needs, our caretaker is just ¼ mile down the road. We want to make you feel at home.
