RIVER VIEW LODGE

WHITEFISH MONTANA VACATION HOME

River View Lodge is a 5 bedroom, 4 bathrooms, 3800 square foot custom timber home. Attention to detail exists everywhere within the vacation home including a custom hand “Made in Montana” vanity and shower wall.

THE MAIN FLOOR

Warmth and character can be found throughout the River View Lodge. Hand circle sawn and skip sanded hardwood floors are found the dining room, family room, and master bedroom. Tile flooring is in the kitchen, mudroom, foyer, and bath. The master bedroom has sliding glass doors onto the deck features a master bath with a Jacuzzi tub. A second bedroom on the main floor has a queen-sized bed and glass sliding doors to the deck.

The kitchen, dining and living areas boast cathedral ceilings, large windows and glass doors overlooking the Stillwater River, along with beautiful woodwork. The kitchen is stocked full of all the cooking and dinnerware for your inner chef to prepare meals for your group.

THE LOWER FLOOR

On the lower level of River View Lodge featuring 9ft ceilings, we have 3 bedrooms. One has its own bathroom and a queen-sized bed with a large window with views over the river and the mountains. Another bedroom has a queen-sized bed and views of the river. And the 3rd bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a twin bed. There are 2 rollaway beds also for use if needed.

REC ROOM

Relax in the rec room or lower living area with comfortable leather furniture. River View Lodge features large screen TVs with DirectTV. The rec room features a pool table and a wet/bar kitchenette.

In the laundry room, you’ll find an HE washer and modern dryer along with supplies to do laundry.

WIFI

The Chisum Lodge and the River View Lodge feature wireless internet so you can stay connected while on vacation.

OUTDOOR LIVING

Enjoy your coffee on the 2800sft full wraparound deck with the sun coming over the mountains and the edge of the river. We provide plenty of outdoor furniture around the open deck and part of the deck is covered, with infrared heaters on the beams for those cooler nights.

The one thing that sets River View Lodge apart is the view and deck. When I was building the deck I may have gotten a little carried away. An extra foot here, an extra foot there and it ended up to be a 2800 sq. ft. full wrap around and the views are amazing.

You can fish on the property, enjoying the Stillwater River. We provide fishing poles to use fishing for pike or trout in the river.

LOCATION

Eagles are often spotted across the river. You will enjoy the local elk farm just to the south, across the road. You can see the elk from the front deck at certain times of the year. A cattle ranch is a neighbor giving the River Meadow Ranch a pastoral setting. Spring calving season is a special time when we get the first glimpse of the season’s new babies. Our ranch has a separate ramp for handicap accessibility. We are located on a quiet road; close to town and airport yet you wouldn’t know it.

If you want the real Montana flavor, this is the area. One of the best caterers in Montana just 5 min down the road. For any needs, our caretaker is just ¼ mile down the road. We want to make you feel at home.
